new bags for Spring...

I decided to make another new bag style to celebrate SPRING!!
It is Spring, right? I think Mother Nature is MAD about something this year.
I would love to see the sun, flowers, and such but sadly it's been cold, windy and rainy around here. So, I pulled out some bright, happy fabric and made some Spring-y bags!!

I conquered my fear...

of ZIPPERS today!!!

one of my new year's resolutions was to finally figure out how to sew a zipper, they have scared me ever since 8th grade sewing class when Mrs. Be-otch made me sew one and then gave me a D!!!!
I HATED sewing back then, it's funny that my job is SEWING!

If only that teacher could see me now! :)

I have been on the look-out for a GREAT giraffe print fabric to make some bags. I finally found it!!


these are made from a heavy canvas- they are thick and sturdy!

I always wanted a VESPA scooter...

I see people zipping around on their cool scooters and I get soo jealous- I would LOVE one!! sadly, it is not practical for hauling 4 kids to their many destinations. BUT, I did find fabric that has the CUTEST vespa looking scooters, with stripes and dots, oh my!!!
